A HUGE thank you to Harvey Norman and everyone who helped out
with the fundraising BBQ on the 15th of May. Sylvia did a great
job of organising the BBQ's. Over $1500 was raised this time
and more that $2500 was raised in total, which is fabulous.
Thanks again to the Mansell, Steggall, Fletcher, Leong, Kestevan
and Francis families as well as Greg Ash, Scott Laylock, Owen

FUNDRAISING BBQ’S HARVEY NORMAN FYSHWICK
ACTISA has secured a second fundraising BBQ at Harvey Norman
Fyshwick for Sunday 15th May.
When previoius event we raised over $1000, and this is money
that is returned to skaters in many ways, including new equipment
purchased to help run competitions, assistance to attend National
Championships and subsidised training sessions, to give just
a few examples. We need volunteers for a roster. If people could
do an hour or two it would be appreciated. If you can assist

for Sunday 3rd April and Sunday 15th
May. When ACTISA ran a similar event last year we raised
over $1000, and this is money that is returned to skaters in
many ways, including new equipment purchased to help run competitions,
assistance to attend National Championships and subsidised training
sessions, to give just a few examples. We need assistance in

1. The loan of a BBQ, Gazebo,
Tressles, Eskys – these will need to be delivered and

Fundraising
BBQ at Magnet Mart - 27
Jul 10
ACTISA has been given the opportunity to hold a fundraising
BBQ at Magnet Mart Gunghalin on Saturday 18th
September 2010. Volunteers will be needed for the roster,
however, we urgently seek a co-ordinator for the day.
Assistance will be available to the co-ordinator in regards
to organising of equipment and purchasing of food etc, but
the co-ordinator will be responsible for the smooth running
of the BBQ on the day and reconciling/banking the money.
This is a fantastic opportunity for ACTISA and one we would
prefer not to turn down.
If anyone can assist, please contact Sylvia Mansell smansell@austechinfo.com.au

the fund raising table. Sue Francis is no longer to undertake
this activity but is available to provide a handover. If storage
